Pakistan is facing an acute and lingering energy crisis which is not only affecting the daily life of the people but is also hindering overall development and progress of the country. This volume is based on the papers read and presentations made at the two-day National Conference on "Solutions for Energy Crisis in Pakistan" jointly organized by the Islamabad Policy Research Institute (IPRI) and the Hanns Seidel Foundation (HSF) Pakistan. Prominent scholars, academicians and policy-makers from Pakistan participated and shared their views on different aspects of the energy crisis which Pakistan is facing and what could be the possible solutions to address the issue.
