Training Workshop for Young Local Politicians in Peshawar

PESHAWAR, PAKISTAN: The Hanns Seidel Foundation Pakistan in collaboration with the Shaoor Foundation for Education and Awareness recently conducted a provincial level training workshop for young local politicians from various parties and government officials in Peshawar under the Political Cadre Development Program (PCDP).

The three-day interactive PCDP workshop included academic sessions, group exercises and case studies on the theoretical as well as the practical aspects of democratic devolution in the context of the 18th Amendment and the resultant developments in the administrative structures at the provincial level.

More than 30 representatives of political parties from all across the KP province and officials from devolved departments participated in the PCDP workshop. Mr. Masood Khan, Secretary Inter-Provincial Coordination Department KP, attended the event as a guest of honor and engaged with the participants on the topics covered in the workshop.
