South Asia is passing through a critical stage of transformation where incentives and constraints for strengthening peace and cooperation are jumbling together. An environment of peace and cooperation in the region would offer multifaceted opportunities and incentives to all the South Asian countries in the form of faster economic growth, poverty alleviation, enhanced employment rate, economic interdependence, infrastructure development, energy cooperation, and regional connectivity. This volume consists of papers presented at a conference organized by IPRI and HSF Pakistan on cooperation in South Asia.
