Model CCI Simulation Exercise in Quetta

QUETTA, PAKISTAN: The Hanns Seidel Foundation (HSF) Pakistan has successfully conducted the fifth Balochistan simulation exercise of Model CCI 2021-23 in collaboration with the Balochistan University of Information Technology, Engineering and Management Sciences (BUITEMS) in Quetta on 4 August 2022.

The chief guest at the simulation exercise, Dr. Nisar Ahmad, Director, National Incubation Center, BUITEMS, stressed the importance of trainings like Model CCI for the development of students:

Model CCI proves to be a platform for students to showcase how politically, socially and economically aware they are about Pakistan and its problems. It provides students with an excellent opportunity to indulge in a dialogue with their fellows, and it will help them boosting their confidence, and hence will help them in becoming future leaders.

40 students selected from the Model CCI training workshop from diverse academic programs participated in the academic one-day activity. The students presented and discussed their policy recommendations on different political, social, and economic topics in Pakistan.

Three jury members selected the five best performing students based on standardized criteria. These selected students will further compete in the next Model CCI rounds in the provincial or federal capitals.
